Understanding the Changed Mechanisms of Laser Beam Fusion Cutting by Applying Beam Oscillation, Based on Thermographic Analysis

چکیده

The latest research on applying beam oscillation in laser fusion cutting revealed significant process improvements regarding speed and quality. reason for this increasing efficiency remains unexplained; however, theoretical investigations suggest the change energy deposition (respectively heat conduction) as cause. present paper aims to analyze by a novel temperature measurement method. For purpose, conventional setup was equipped with technology high-speed setup. Various characteristics of distribution zone (spatial temporal resolved profiles, maximum average values, well melt pool size) were evaluated different conditions (amplitude, frequency, speed). Additionally, geometrical properties zone, defining absorptivity have been measured. comparison static shaping reveals strong volatility, which is induced way an improved over substantial part cut front, overall result enhanced conduction. first time, changed mechanisms instead experimentally identified. Based these measurements, previously developed explanatory model not only confirmed but also extended.
